Hi! My name is Dawn Lanham and I'm the director of our Annual Vacation Bible School. Each year we try to create an event for kids of all ages that is safe, fun and teaches them important life lessons from the Bible. As a mother of three, I took on this role to guarantee that all children come in feeling as welcomed, loved, and having as much fun as my children did growing up with Vacation Bible School. Each year's Vacation bible School has a general theme that incorporates an important tale from the Bible. Some favorite theme in the past that we have had include Super heroes, Wild Animals, and Underwater adventure. Each year's Vacation Bible School is met with different stations including a Science lab, arts and crafts, music time, outdoor playtime, and a snack portion. Our goal at the end of each week is that the kids take away an important lesson that they'll carry with them for the rest of their lives while also making new friends and having fun during the short week each summer we spend together.
